So I did my first full body paint with my new peeps "Death from a Brush" at this fine event:
And though the choices of villains were a many- it just so happens that Apple's favorite comic realm was that of Batman. After many days of narrowing down a character that 1. hadn't been over done, 2. was interesting 3. I could do as much or as little as I wanted to with... I settled on Miss Duela Dent, which you may or may not know as the Joker's Daughter from an alternate universe.
Below are some pictures of the lovely Evangelina bravely being my first body paint model... EVER. There are a few photos of the process and a couple of after shots (though I did go back in later and added more highlights and shadows- which I wasn't able to find pictures of and didn't take the time to get pictures of myself). Still, it wasn't too shabby. Photo credits go out to Robert Thompson Photography and Evangelina.
Everyone in the DFAB crew did a great job body painting, and canvas painting- yup they do that too. Check out Mrs. Freeze by Lily Santoya (model Sami), Duela Dent by me, Lord Zedd by Abril Viola (model Charles), and Jade (from Mortal Kombat) by Scott Wilson and Jennifer Wright Fowler (model Kimberly). Also pictured: Poison Ivy by Jsn Art (model Jenna), Yoda by Mike Arguello and the Little Mermaid by Adrian De La Cruz.
Also at the event was Rudy Campos from Skin Wars who busted out his airbrush and pulled off an awesome female Ultron on model Tierney- glowing chest piece and all, battery pack included. (Pictures courtesy of Robert Thompson and Tierney)
I had a great time and can't wait to do it again!
